It is useless for the Notes window to pop-up in the check-in process AFTER the guest's credit card is authorized. Front Desk agents at our property are trained to always open and review guest notes first, BEFORE beginning the check-in process. This is primarily to avoid accidentally authorizing a guest's credit card for too much if there is a prior arrangement for Room/Tax to be paid by a third party, but it also helps with knowing details about the guest's interaction with the hotel between the time of reservation and time of arrival. If the Notes window were the first thing to pop-up in the check-in process, it would save the additional step of having to open the notes manually prior to starting the Check-In.
It would also be AMAZING if, while going through the check-in process, the Guest Share screen would automatically pop up so we can confirm names of other adults staying in the room. And if there could be a pop-up added that allowed us to quickly type in the guest's answer to the "What Brings You to Town" question and have that save directly to the Guest Profile, I would be in HEAVEN. Remembering the additional steps of reviewing Guest Shares and inputting reason for stay data on the guest profile either before or after completing the check-in is not always easy when it's busy at the desk, so if they were both just made a part of the Check-In flow in RoomKey, it would improve efficiency and consistency in collecting that information.
