Ideas for RoomKeyPMS

The goal of this portal is to:

  1. Collect your suggestions and ideas on RoomKeyPMS features
  2. To better understand your priorities   
  3. Review your ideas when planning the RoomKeyPMS roadmap  
  4. Update you on the features being considered and implemented in future releases

Multiple pre-authorizations for same resID

I talked to support and apparently this isn't possible yet in RoomkeyPMS, but other PMS systems (such as Opera, fosse, PEP (Hilton's newest PMS system)) allow you to have more than one open authorization associated with the same resID. This is useful in scenarios where you're instructed to bill the company credit card on file, but still want to take a separate personal credit card pre-authorization for incidentals. (Since the company may only authorize room charge + tax but not other charges such as damages to the room.)

    I 100% agree! People split their bill all the time. But we have to tell them 1 person has to foot the whole bill at arrival? Or that they have to pay up front now? It's ridiculous!
