So on night audit, when printing reports, we always have to change the date to yesterday with each report (since popup date selector defaults to present day). Create a "Night Auditor" date setting so reports will default to yesterday.
How would you rate the importance of this idea? | This is a nice to have |
I am using a mouse macro record program to print the reports now. It's great for one PC but doesn't work on other network computers because of the screen size diffs. You hare to record it on each PC for it to work.
Below is a GREAT idea!!!
" create an option for management to add all reports they want and for what days, and then all we have to do is choose that option and it pulls and prints all reports in the same order"
or they could just create an option for management to add all reports they want and for what days, and then all we have to do is choose that option and it pulls and prints all reports in the same order, Choice Hotels runs ChoiceAdvantage, and this is an option for them, they just push click run Night Audit, and then Print and then out comes all the predetermined reports, this would save so much time, and energy. they could make it so the first page(s) are mandatory to be the essential balancing, and then the rest are what audit needs to balance/print for the management.
This would also be a great option for the emergency reports, one click and out comes the arrival, inhouse, etc so if there is an emergency such as fire, tornado, etc its just a quick click (or keyboard shortcut like CTRL + E ) and out they come! those few seconds could be life or death, timing is everything in an emergency
If I set the date back on the PC to the previous day, what happens with the data? I think the default date would change to the day before (so I would not have to change the date when printing yesterdays reports), just not sure what happens to the data? Any ideas?
