Assign Same Room to Multiple Attendants

Our housekeepers work in teams (typically of 2 or 3) and need to fill a specific capacity each shift. When assigning a floor to an attendant we then have a second (or third) attendant who receives no credits for that shift. We need to assign both attendants all the rooms to that floor.

How would you rate the importance of this idea? Would help but is not 100% necessary

Thanks for the clarification Sherrilee, this makes sense and can understand how the capacity planning piece for individuals would be missing in this scenario. As mentioned, this is the first time this process has come up and what you've described makes complete sense. We will log this use case as part of the next iteration of improvements to Housekeeping module which is currently in the backlog for some time in 2017 depending on other feature/project priorities.  You can see/track these at the following location roadmap.roomkeypms.com.  Thanks for the feedback again, we are actively increasing the interaction on this portal so please keep feedback, new ideas and comments on existing items coming: we are reading them.  Andy

You are correct int he second paragraph. We like them to work in groups of two. So Andy and Shane would be assigned rooms 100 to 125 and as they check out or as someone is arriving they will hit those rooms. The setup we are using right now is we have a staff member called "Team 1" and we are assigning rooms to Team 1 and then printing the sheet and letting the two (or more) staff work on that group. This is fine, except we cannot use the capacity ability which we would find useful.

    Thanks Sherrilee,

If I'm understanding correctly, this is the first time that this has come up in feedback.  So essentially, a group rooms are assigned to a group of attendants, then that group is rooms is assigned out to the members of that group?

Or is it that the group is assigned a bunch of rooms and the team members just tackle any of those rooms when they're ready?  E.g. Group 1 has Andy and Shane, Rooms 100 through 125 are assigned to Group 1: Andy and Shane will just tackle any of those rooms and they'll work it out between them.
