Ideas for RoomKeyPMS

The goal of this portal is to:

  1. Collect your suggestions and ideas on RoomKeyPMS features
  2. To better understand your priorities   
  3. Review your ideas when planning the RoomKeyPMS roadmap  
  4. Update you on the features being considered and implemented in future releases

"Rate & Tax" column added to RoomKey in house screen next to the "Rate" column

The total with tax on the in house screen. Right next to the rate tab. This would help properties that post a deposit every night. For example Expedia, Priceline, Hotwire virtual cards. Under the current system we have to click the folio, wait and look at the total with tax, exit the folio, hit the post payment button, remember the total from two screens ago, change the folio to 8,  then make the posting. Under the new proposed system change you can hit post payment look at the in house screen change the folio to 8 and match the amount.

    Because the Rate could be different on a day to day basis,  we are limited to what we can display in that area. 

    Could we look at this issue a bit differently, are you looking for a more efficient way to post deposits/payments as they come due?

    Current Work Around from the In-house List: Click on the folio (be sure the "Stay" button is chosen),  then pull up the Post Payment window. The folio stays open and the total can be seen.

    You can also go through the Change Res/Stay function and copy the total to paste in the Post Payment window. As long as the rates are correctly set ,and no other fees are associated with your room/tax rates, that number should be correct.
