It would be nice if there was a clerk permission restriction on checking in a guest with a declined credit card. I know they have permissions options for overbooking without an Admin override, or booking into a dirty room.

This is a good point. Thank you for your feedback as this is an item that we will continue to debate. But overall, when speaking with some customers on this topic they have suggested that the flexibility here in the system is required and that their training and operating procedures would outline the best practice for this type of check-in, as we find different hotels solve this situation in different ways.
