Ideas for RoomKeyPMS

The goal of this portal is to:

  1. Collect your suggestions and ideas on RoomKeyPMS features
  2. To better understand your priorities   
  3. Review your ideas when planning the RoomKeyPMS roadmap  
  4. Update you on the features being considered and implemented in future releases

Group Module - Contract Vs. Block vs. Pick up

When a group is blocked there is a Contracted amount of Rooms - this is always good to know what the Client has committed to - this number of rooms per day needs to be locked and not changed.  The Block amount may change based on our knowledge of the Group and Past Pick up trends 

 

an example:  A Bride commits to 20 rooms a night - we know based on our past history that wedding blocks tend to pick up 60-80% of what the bride thinks.  So then we block 80% then if the guests only pick up 60%

Remaining         4                      4   - this can be released and the BLOCK and Pick up is Equal - BUT contract does not change.  (Most Group Modules in other PMS that I have worked with do it this way)
