RoomKey is detected as malware by several security software packages (eg by our default AV package Kaspersky Endpoint Security and by the security software required by our bank, SaAT Netizen). And as of today WIndows Defender also thinks RoomKey is malware.
Additionally the solution to some seemingly random access problems that occur during standard RoomKey usage requires one to disable all kinds of security features that are part of a modern OS as detailed in the below link (giving non-admin user full read/write access to RoomKey system folder, disabling DEP for RoomKey, ...):

I think is quite unacceptable that for a regular non-admin user to run RoomKey they need full read/write access to the Roomkey system folder. Any temporary files / configuration files that need editing should be saved in a user folder and not the system folder.
Are there any plans to make RoomKey work nicely with modern operating systems? Perhaps move to a hosted interface instead of local software that requires installation on the user's pc?
